Cocktails in the City
Cocktails in the City is returning to Edinburgh on Wednesday 28th November at the stunning Mansfield Traquair. From 6pm – 10pm, you will be able to buy cocktails from a range of Edinburgh’s finest bars.
Celebrating Edinburgh’s vibrant cocktail scene, Cocktails in the City is the UK’s largest ever interactive cocktail evening with 12 bars and 350 cocktail enthusiasts making over 1,200 cocktails.
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, beer anarchists Brew Dog and celebrity tequila queen Cleo Rocos will be holding court in the Tutored Tasting Room hosted in the chapel educating visitors on Whisky, Beer and Tequila. Visitors will also learn more practical cocktail tips and tricks on the main stage with demonstrations on cocktail making at home.
Founder Andrew Scutts comments; “This show reflects the increasing trend and popularity of cocktail culture and the fact Edinburgh has a world leading cocktail bar scene. This event is a unique opportunity to discover all Edinburgh top bars under one roof and learn the skillful art of cocktail making”
Participating Edinburgh bars include: Harvey Nichols, Rick’s, Bond No 9, Amicus Apple, Hotel Du Vin, Monteiths, The Blackbird, The Voodoo Rooms, Lebowskis, 56 North, Tonic, Grand Cru.
For £18.00 visitors receive three tokens upon entry and are able to exchange them for a cocktail, made by themselves under the expert tuition of the city’s top bartenders. Visitors will also be able to watch main stage demonstrations or participate in private tutored tasting sessions.
